Located 25 kilometers north of Nuremberg, the DARC Local Association Forchheim (B26) is proud to celebrate over 50 years of service to the amateur radio community in the region.
About Us
Founded in 1966, our association began with a small group of passionate radio enthusiasts—15 founding members who shared a common love for technology and radio communication. Over the years, we have grown into a vibrant community of 120 active members, a testament to our collective dedication to amateur radio.
As we mark this milestone anniversary, we look back with pride at our accomplishments, our community, and our unwavering passion for advancing the art of radio communication.
Our Activities
Our members are actively involved in a wide range of activities, including:
- Regular OV Meetings: Where members gather to share knowledge and experiences.
- Contests: Participating in various amateur radio contests, honing our skills and striving for excellence.
- Technical Projects: Building and refining radio equipment, antennas, and other technical setups.
- Community Outreach: Welcoming newcomers to the hobby and encouraging young people to join the amateur radio community.
We are proud of our 50-year history, and we are excited to continue growing and innovating in the world of amateur radio.
