The club's focus is on public service and emergency communication, but they also offer a range of activities and learning opportunities for those interested in digital modes, DX, and VHF/UHF. SIERA offers a variety of services including license classes, test sessions, and mentorship, providing a nurturing environment for all members.

Meetings take place on the first Saturday of each month at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville, Nevada. SIERA’s weekly net operates on the 147.300 repeater, and they are always open to new members. To learn more, visit their website.
