Welcome to the Ortsverband Lebach (Q15), a proud member of the Deutscher Amateur-Radio-Club e.V. (DARC). Celebrating 50 years of amateur radio excellence, Q15 was founded in December 1975 by former members of the OV Schmelz Q06. Over the decades, the club has grown to become a key player in the Saar District.
Our Milestone: 50th Anniversary
To commemorate this remarkable milestone, OV Lebach has received a special "DOK" (District-Ort-Kennzeichen), adding a unique touch to this year’s celebrations. The club has organized numerous activities and events to mark this significant occasion, and we look forward to continued involvement with the amateur radio community.
Key Highlights from 2024 Activities:

April 4, 2024: During the OV Evening, Manfred DK1VD was presented with the Saar District Certificate of Appreciation for his ongoing support of district activities. The presentation was made by Eugen DK8VR (District Chairman) and Harald DL8EA (OV Chairman).

June: The General Assembly took place at the Weiher in Reisbach, where the club gathered for important updates and decisions.

December 1, 2024: The Year-End Celebration took place in Anglerhütte at Weiher in Reisbach, offering a cozy gathering with great food and drink despite the cold temperatures. Special thanks to our host, Michael, and our grill master.

August 13, 2023: Field Operation at the Telegrafenstation on Litermont: Our team set up a station and performed FT8 and SSTV transmissions, with live demonstrations and a 2m information booth.
Meetings and Gatherings

Monthly Meetings: We meet on the first Thursday of every month at the Restaurant Delphi in Lebach (Dillinger Strasse 118). Join us for lively discussions and networking with fellow enthusiasts.
