Niagara Frontier Radiosport: Advancing Amateur Radiosport in Western New York

Niagara Frontier Radiosport (NFR), with the call sign NF2RS, brings together amateur radio enthusiasts passionate about contesting, DXing, and advancing radio knowledge. Founded in 2013, the club is dedicated to fostering camaraderie, promoting individual operating efficiency, and elevating amateur radiosport within the community.

With biannual meetings held at members’ residences—one in August and another in November—the club creates a collaborative space where members exchange expertise, mentor newcomers, and support each other’s growth in the field. Through its offerings, including a club newsletter, hamfest participation, and a Tvi/RFI committee, NFR caters to both seasoned operators and aspiring radio enthusiasts.

Led by President Richard A. Stein (K2ZR) and supported by a dedicated team, the club remains a cornerstone for amateur radiosport activities in Western New York. To learn more, visit their QRZ page.
