The Grand Strand Amateur Radio Club (GSARC), with call sign W4GS, has been a staple of the Myrtle Beach, SC area since 1982. As an ARRL-affiliated club, GSARC is dedicated to fostering the growth of amateur radio through education, training, and public service. Meeting Schedule:
GSARC meets on the first Monday of each month at 7 PM at the Moose Lodge on Burcale Road, Myrtle Beach, SC. -
Membership:
The club has approximately 100 members, with 100 voting members, and most of its members are also ARRL members. -

- License Classes: GSARC offers Entry-Level License Classes as well as General or Higher License Classes to help you progress in the hobby.
- License Test Sessions: The club conducts test sessions to help aspiring hams earn their licenses.
- Packet Radio BBS: For digital mode enthusiasts, GSARC provides a Packet Radio BBS.
- Repeaters: The club maintains a repeater for local communications.
