ZD7G & ZD7SFU – St Helena Island

ZD7G (Shinji, JM1GDA) and ZD7SFU (JF3SFU) are operating from St. Helena Island until November 22, 2024. ZD7G has been active and recently communicated successfully with Spain using RS-44 satellite communication on November 12. The QSO was made with the help of EA4NF, who contacted ZD7G after seeing the information on DX World.

Shinji plans to continue operating via RS-44 during the daytime.

Activities:

• Bands: Mainly FT8 and SSB on HF bands.
• Satellite Communication: RS-44 with plans for contacts with Europe, Africa, and South America.
