The XRX Amateur Radio Club, with the call sign W2XRX, has been an ARRL-affiliated organization since 1989, based in Webster, NY. This club serves as a hub for radio enthusiasts in Western New York, offering a range of activities and services that foster learning and community involvement.
The club convenes every second Thursday of the month at the Recreation Center on Chiyoda Drive, where members participate in discussions on contesting, digital modes, DX communications, and VHF/UHF operations. XRX ARC supports members with entry-level and advanced license classes, repeater access, and mentorship opportunities to help amateurs at all skill levels.
Leading the club are President Brian Donovan (K2AS), Vice President Harry Ramos (W2HRY), Treasurer Dusty Kramer (KF2CF), and Secretary Richard A. Hull (K2RAH). Together, they guide the club’s initiatives, fostering a friendly environment where operators can connect, learn, and expand their expertise in amateur radio.
