We are pleased to introduce you to the DARC Local Association Ochsenfurt (B29). Our association is a vibrant community of amateur radio enthusiasts, and we invite both newcomers and experienced radio operators to join us in our exciting activities.
Regular Meetings and Events
We meet on the second Friday of every month at 7:00 PM at Gasthof Stern in Gollhofen. These meetings provide an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share knowledge, and engage in discussions about the latest trends in amateur radio.
OV-Rounds
In addition to our monthly meetings, we hold regular OV-rounds on different frequencies:
- UKW (VHF): Thursdays at 8:00 PM on 144.725 MHz and Sundays at 7:00 PM over DBØBGK (TX: 439.225 MHz, RX: 431.625 MHz, Tone: 1750Hz or 67Hz Sub).
- HF (Shortwave): Wednesdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 10:00 AM on 1.857 MHz.
- DMR: Tuesdays at 7:45 PM (TG 262806).
We welcome everyone to participate, whether you're an amateur radio operator or simply interested in the technology.
Our Activities
The DARC Local Association Ochsenfurt is active in various aspects of amateur radio, from contest participation and self-building projects to training new members and sharing knowledge. We take pride in hosting:
- Presentations by members to stay up-to-date with advancements in the field.
- Fielddays and flea markets.
- Fox hunting activities designed to involve beginners and families.
- Special events such as our Maindiplom, a tribute to our local region.
Recent Events
- 2023 Annual General Meeting: In May 2023, we held our first regular AGM after the long pandemic restrictions, during which elections were held for key positions. Congratulations to the newly elected officials!
- DMR Talk Group Training: Our February meeting focused on a DMR presentation, where we learned about the Brandmeister network, codeplug setup for Anytone AT-D878, and even sent SMS messages via DMR.
Clubstation and DMR Repeater
- Our Clubstation: The main callsign for our station is DKØFU, which is available for activation.
- DMR Repeater DBØOCH: Since October 2017, our privately-funded DMR repeater, located in Frickenhausen/Ochsenfurt at 438.26250 MHz, provides coverage across a 6000 km² area. This repeater bridges the gap between DMR Brandmeister repeaters in the Nuremberg and Hessen regions.
