The Bamberg Amateur Radio Club (B05) is a local chapter of the Deutscher Amateur-Radio-Club e.V. (DARC), the largest amateur radio organization in Germany. We are a group of enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds who share a passion for radio communication, experimentation, and community.
What We Do
- Monthly Meetings: We hold monthly meetings at the Landgasthof Leicht in Kemmern every second Friday of the month, starting at 7:30 PM. These meetings are a great opportunity to socialize, share knowledge, and learn about the latest developments in amateur radio.
- Weekly On-Air Net: Every Monday at 7:30 PM local time, we have an on-air net on the DB0UB repeater (145.625 MHz). This is a chance to connect with other members, exchange information, and practice your radio skills.
- OVV Frequency: Our official club frequency is 145.325 MHz (S13 - V26) and we also use the repeaters DB0UB (145.625 MHz - R1 - RV50) and DB0VT (438.900 MHz - R80 - RU712).
