The Aschaffenburg Local Association has been a part of the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC) since 1950 and currently has 70 members. Our members gather every third Friday of the month at the Pizzeria Lina in Königsberger Straße 2, 68853 Mömlingen, starting at 19:00. The venue is conveniently located near the Ludwig-Ritter Sporthalle, with plenty of parking spaces available.
What We Do:
- OV Meetings: Join us every third Friday for our regular OV evening. Whether you're a licensed amateur or just interested in the technology, you're always welcome!
- Field Days: During the summer months, you can find us on our radio field, where we engage in outdoor radio activities and experiments.
- QRG and Relays: Our local frequency is 145.400 MHz FM, and we also operate DBØOVA, our relay on 439.1375 MHz in C4FM and FM, with a sub-tone of 88.5 Hz. Every Wednesday at 19:00, we are active on our home relay.
Core Values:
Amateur radio for us is not just about technology and radio operation—it's a gateway to the world. It is about international friendship and understanding without any political, religious, or personal background. We strive to build lasting relationships both locally and globally, through our shared passion for technology and communication.
We would love for you to join us at our next meeting or on our field days, whether you're a tech enthusiast or a curious newcomer!
