About Us

Founded in 1954, the Alexandria Radio Club Inc has been a cornerstone for radio enthusiasts in Alexandria, Virginia for over seven decades. As an affiliated club with the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and the Foundation for Amateur Radio (FAR), we pride ourselves on our long-standing commitment to community service and the advancement of radio technology. With a dedicated membership of 98 active members, including 91 licensed amateurs and 76 ARRL members, our club fosters a vibrant community focused on education, public service, and the enhancement of radio communications.

We gather every second Friday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Alexandria Police Department, Community Room, located at 3600 Wheeler Ave., Alexandria, VA 22306.
