Welcome to VERON Afdeling Waterland, known by its club call sign PI4WLD. This amateur radio club is located just north of Amsterdam, serving the area around Purmerend, including famous villages like Edam and Volendam.
Club Meetings and Activities
Chapter meetings are held at Wijkgebouw Where, located at Triton 73 in Purmerend, specifically in Zaal Spoorzicht. Meetings consistently begin at 8:00 PM.
Upcoming Activities:
- June 12, 2025: Q&A Session. This will be a "question and answer" evening where attending experts will address all your queries, particularly concerning HF antennas, station building, automation, and contests. It's highly recommended to email your questions in advance to the secretary at pi4wld@veron.nl.
- Summer Recess: This Q&A evening on June 12th will be the last meeting before the summer recess.
The Waterland Ronde
The Waterland Ronde (radio round) takes place every Friday evening at 8:00 PM on 145.350 MHz.
