Thank You, Hamfest Longueuil 2026: Celebrating the VE2CLM Community

A hamfest brings an amateur radio community together in person, with time to meet fellow operators, exchange ideas and discover equipment. Talkpod was pleased to support Hamfest Longueuil 2026, held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Bingo Longueuil in Quebec, Canada, and organized by the Club Radio Amateur de la Rive-Sud de Montréal (VE2CLM).

After the event, VE2CLM President Jean Paquette, VA2JQT, sent us photos of the radio prize recipients and a personal message of thanks. We are happy to share those moments and return our thanks to the people who made the event possible.

A Thank-You from VE2CLM

“Merci pour votre commandite, les bénévoles étaient très contents”

“Thank you for your sponsorship. The volunteers were very happy.” — Jean Paquette, VA2JQT, President of VE2CLM, translated from French.

Jean also told us that visitors who saw the sponsored items at the club booth showed strong interest. His message gives us a welcome glimpse of the response at the event, alongside the photos of the radio prize recipients.

Congratulations to the Radio Prize Recipients

Congratulations to the recipients pictured in the photos Jean shared. Thank you for being part of Hamfest Longueuil and for helping keep the local amateur radio community active.

Thank You to the Volunteers and Organizers

To Jean and the VE2CLM team: thank you for organizing the event, welcoming visitors to your club booth and taking the time to send these photos back to us. We appreciate the work of the volunteers and the opportunity to support your community.

Jean expressed his hope that Talkpod would be involved again next year. We appreciate that invitation and look forward to staying in touch with VE2CLM about future opportunities.

Merci, VE2CLM. Thank you, Hamfest Longueuil. Congratulations to the prize recipients, and 73 from the Talkpod team!
