The Sask Alta Radio Club is a vibrant community of ham radio operators serving Lloydminster, Alberta, and surrounding areas in Northwest Saskatchewan and Northeast Alberta. As a member of both the Western and Mid-West RAC (Radio Amateurs of Canada) Regions, we connect radio enthusiasts, promote the hobby, and provide valuable resources for all skill levels.

Meetings and Activities
- Club Meetings: Join us for our regular meetings held at 7:00 PM local time on the 1st Wednesday of February, April, June, September, and November. Locations alternate between Lloydminster Lakeland College and online. Meeting details are always posted on the website.

- Accredited Examiner: VE6FP is available to administer your amateur radio licensing exam.
Stay Connected with Our Extensive Repeater Network
The Sask Alta Radio Club operates a robust, full-time linked network of repeaters, keeping you connected across a vast area:
- VE5RI (146.940-) (Echolink node 470103) near Lloydminster
- VE6YVG (147.315+) at Vermilion
- VE6RWC (145.290-) at Edgerton
- VE6INN (147.345+) at Innisfree
- VE6HDY (145.170-) at Hardisty
All these repeaters require a PL tone of 123.0 Hz for access and are linked through a UHF hub at Borradaile (VE6BDL - 449.075-).
Additionally, we have VE5YLL (444.725+) connected to IRLP 1198 with a PL tone of 100 Hz for access.
This network covers a significant area, stretching from Lavoy, Alberta, to Paynton, Saskatchewan, along Highway 16, and from Cold Lake, Alberta, to Hardisty, Alberta, along Highway 41.
Beyond Communication: Events and Community
The Sask Alta Radio Club is actively involved in various events and initiatives:
