Roanoke HamFest 2024

The Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club (RVARC) and the William Byrd Middle School Amateur Radio Club invite you to the Roanoke Hamfest on August 3, 2024. This ARRL-sanctioned event will be held at William Byrd Middle School in Vinton, VA. Join fellow amateur radio enthusiasts for a day filled with learning, networking, and fun.

Schedule:

• Event Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Vendor Setup: Starts at 7:00 AM
• Laurel VEC Testing Session: 10:00 AM (Free, pre-register with Sarah, AC4SJ)

Admission:

• General Admission: $5.00 per person (free for those under 18 or with a college ID under 25)
• Outside Tailgate Area: $5.00 per space (plus $5.00 admission)
• Parking: Free on-site parking

• Outdoor Tailgate Area: Buy, sell, and trade amateur radio and electronics gear.
