Repost: FP5KE – Saint-Pierre & Miquelon DXpedition

The team leader, F2DX (ex FP5DX 1988–1991), reports that preparations for the FP5KE 2025 DXpedition to Ile aux Marins in the Saint-Pierre & Miquelon archipelago are progressing smoothly. The expedition, organized by F6KOP Radio Club of Provins following the success of the 9L5A DXpedition in 2024, will feature a robust team of 16 experienced operators plus FP5AC for stewardship and autonomous operations.

Key Details:

  • Stations & Bands: The operation will include 8 HF and 6m stations, along with 2 EME stations (on 2m and 23cm). Up to twenty antennas will be deployed.
  • Modes: Emphasis will be on the “human” modes—CW, SSB, and RTTY—while still including FT8 and FT4.
  • Duration: The callsign FP5KE will be active for a minimum of 10 days of traffic.
  • Power: All stations will be powered by generators to ensure reliable operation.

Further details, including exact dates, a full list of operators, and the official website, will be announced later. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting expedition to one of the world’s most coveted DX locations.
