Nestled in the heart of Ravenna, Ohio, the Portage Amateur Radio Club Inc (PARC), call sign KB8ZHP, has been a cornerstone of the amateur radio community since its founding in 1983. With a vibrant membership of 47 enthusiasts, PARC brings together seasoned operators and newcomers alike to explore the endless possibilities of amateur radio.
A Legacy of Community and Service
Meeting every fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 PM at the Maplewood Career Center, PARC is much more than a club—it’s a family. Dedicated to fostering a love for amateur radio, the club is deeply involved in community service, providing critical emergency communication support and participating in public events.

Under the capable leadership of President Lawrence Solak (WD8MPV) and Treasurer/Secretary Joanne Solak (KJ3O), PARC has built a legacy of excellence.
