Morse Code (CW) Lives On
Morse code remains a pillar of the club’s activities. Once required for amateur radio licensing, it continues to captivate members of all ages. The club fosters a rich tradition of CW, with both experienced operators and newcomers actively engaging in the practice. Many young enthusiasts have rediscovered the art of Morse code, keeping the legacy alive.
Additionally, members of S31 explore a wide range of radio activities including satellite communications, digital modes, self-building equipment, portable operations, and even mountain-top radio activities.
Self-Built Equipment
The club is also home to several self-build enthusiasts, where members like DH7WM and DL2LTO share their knowledge on building equipment and setting up operations. The club also runs several helpful resources, including members’ personal websites where you can find their projects and experiences in the world of amateur radio.
