AMSTELVEEN, Netherlands — The VERON afdeling Amstelveen (VERON section Amstelveen), established on April 26, 1975, is a thriving amateur radio organization serving approximately 70 members from Amstelveen and the surrounding areas. Its diverse membership includes shortwave listeners, licensed amateur radio operators, those interested in radio history, avid contesters, and dedicated homebrewers. Members are active across a broad spectrum of frequencies, from VLF to SHF, and utilize various modes such as FM, SSB, CW, and numerous digital modes.

Activities and Member Benefits
The Amstelveen section offers a wide array of activities and benefits to its members:

 - Reading folder service: Members can access a reading folder containing national and international amateur radio magazines for a small fee.

Meeting Information
