Description
The Mecklenburg Amateur Radio Society ("MARS") is an active club with involvement in Public Service, ARES/NC AUXCOMM, Field Days, and many aspects of ham radio. Founded in 1949, MARS engages hams in Mecklenburg County, NC, and the Greater Charlotte region. MARS is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on training, promoting amateur radio, and providing fellowship and fun.
