The Indy United Amateur Radio Club (ARC) is a competitive contest club based in the Indianapolis area, formed through the merger of two former local clubs: the Indianapolis Radio League and the Legion of Indianapolis DXers. Since its inception in 2019, Indy United ARC has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the world of amateur radio contests, particularly in Field Day competitions.

Field Day Dominance:

- 2019: Placed 2nd in Class 3A, despite only having three months of preparation.
- 2020: Won the overall championship with an impressive score of 17,330, surpassing over 10,000 competitors.
- 2021: Set an all-time Indiana Field Day record score of 19,666, achieving the 3rd highest total under post-1971 Field Day rules.
- 2022: Secured a 5th place finish despite the resurgence of larger "mega-clubs" post-pandemic.
Club Name Significance:
The name "Indy United" reflects the club's mission to bring together the amateur radio operators and clubs in the Indianapolis area. Additionally, the name pays homage to Manchester United, the legendary British soccer club.
