Successful National Radio Orienteering Championships
Under the auspices of the Hungarian Radio Amateur Association (MRASZ) and organized by the HA5KHC Puskás Rádióamatőr Klub, the Radio Orienteering Sprint National Championship and the FOXORING National Championship were held with great success.
The first competition took place in Budapest's Városliget (City Park). A large number of club members participated, guarding the installed fox transmitters. The club's athletes also competed, achieving excellent results on the first day. The unusually high number of participants allowed the Hungarian Radio Amateur Association to significantly showcase the role and beauty of this sport to the public strolling in the City Park.
The second day's competition was held around Hármashatár-hegy (Three-Border Mountain). Despite the rainy weather, competitors enjoyed the course and the familiar organization. The club's athletes again achieved outstanding results on this day. Images from the competition will soon be available on the club's radio orienteering website.
