The Sussex Amateur Radio Association (SARA) is a vibrant and active community of amateur radio operators based in Georgetown, Delaware. With a rich history dating back to its affiliation with ARRL on December 31, 1969, SARA has been a cornerstone for radio enthusiasts in the region, offering a variety of activities, educational opportunities, and public service initiatives.

Meetings and Activities

SARA members meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Mulligan Pointe Country Club in Georgetown, DE. The meetings are a great opportunity for members to discuss the latest in amateur radio, participate in contests, and engage in digital modes and DXing.

Testing Sessions:
Before each club meeting, the association conducts license test sessions starting at 6:00 PM. Aspiring radio operators need to preregister by contacting Herb Quick, KF3BT, via email.
