- Connect with Fellow Hams: Attend their regular meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month (from September to June) at 7:30 PM Eastern Time at the Pickering Recreation Centre, Meeting Room A (Valley Farm Rd, south of Kingston Rd). - VE3SPA (147.350 MHz +) with a PL tone of 103.5 Hz
- VE3DAX (444.600 MHz +) with a PL tone of 103.5 Hz
- Both VE3SPA and VE3DAX are linked to the IRLP network (Node 1404) for broader connectivity.
- Active Participation: SPARC participates in various ham radio events like the Durham Region Hamfest and ARRL Field Day.
- Stay Updated: Join the club net on Sundays at 7:30 PM Eastern Time on VE3DAX and Mondays at 7:30 PM Eastern Time on VE3SPA for informal chats and to stay informed about club activities.
