Calling all ham radio enthusiasts in Iroquois and surrounding areas! The Iroquois Amateur Radio Club (Iroquois ARC) welcomes you to connect, learn, and explore the exciting world of ham communication.
The Iroquois ARC: Your Gateway to Ham Radio
Established to serve South and North Dundas Townships, the Iroquois ARC is a dedicated group passionate about amateur radio. They provide a welcoming environment for both seasoned operators and those just starting their ham radio journey.
Why Join the Iroquois ARC?
- Connect with Fellow Hams: Attend regular monthly meetings (from September to June) at the Iroquois Royal Canadian Legion.
- Stay Informed and Engaged: Participate in the weekly "Raccoon Net" on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM ET on the VE3IRO repeater.
- Support the Community: The Iroquois ARC actively contributes to the community by collaborating with North and South Dundas Emergency Management and providing communication support during various public service events.
- Multiple Repeater Access: The club maintains several repeaters (VE3IRO, VE3NDC, VA3ESD) operating on different frequencies, ensuring smooth communication within their coverage area. The VA3ESD repeater even offers IRLP (Internet Radio Linking Project) connectivity, allowing you to connect with a wider network of ham operators.
