Why Join Barrie ARC?
- Connect with Fellow Hams: Attend their monthly meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (except July and August) at 7:00 PM Eastern Time in the cafeteria at Eastview Secondary School (421 Grove St. E., Barrie).
- Learn and Grow: Barrie ARC offers a Basic Qualification course starting mid-January each year. Reach out to [email protected] for details and registration information.
- Get Licensed: Get ready to hit the airwaves! The club has accredited examiners (VE3THR and VE3RRD) who can guide you through the licensing process.
- Stay Connected and Contribute: Utilize the club's repeater, VE3RAG on 147.000 MHz with a PL tone of 156.7 Hz, to communicate with other operators in the region.

- Club Net: Every Monday at 7:30 PM Eastern Time on the VE3RAG repeater.
- Wireless Amateur Experimental (WAX) Group: Meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM Eastern Time (check the website for the current meeting location).

- Simcoe County Hamfest: Held on the 1st Saturday of May.
- Parks on the Air (POTA): The club actively participates in this program.
- International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend (ILLW): Participate in lighthouse activations during August.
