Club Overview

The Radio Operators Association of Dallas (W7ORE) has been a cornerstone of the local amateur radio community since its founding. As a club affiliated with the ARRL, ROADS supports a variety of interests, including contesting, digital modes, DXing, and VHF/UHF operations.

But it’s not just about operating radios! ROADS prides itself on fostering community through social gatherings and offering various learning opportunities for newcomers and experienced operators alike.


Meeting Times and Events

ROADS holds its monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month at Polk County Courthouse, located behind the Sheriff's Office. These regular gatherings are a great way to stay updated on club activities, get involved with local events, and enjoy discussions with fellow enthusiasts.
