Welcome to the DARC Ortsverband Wiesloch-Walldorf (A39) website! Located in the scenic area of Hockenheim, our club has a long history of bringing together amateur radio enthusiasts. We are celebrating 40 years of our existence with special events and activities throughout the year.

40 Years of DARC A39 – Sonder-DOK 40A39

In September 1977, amateur radio operators in the Hockenheim area came together to establish the OV Hockenheim. The founding meeting was held at the Hotel Sonnenhof under the leadership of OM Erhard Schönhöfer DJ8KE. Forty years later, we are celebrating this milestone with our club station DFØOH and the special DOK 40A39.

Upcoming Projects with DFØOH:

September 10th: Tag des Offenen Denkmals: DF0OH will be active from the 35-meter-high water tower in Hockenheim.
October 20-21: Jamboree on the Air (JOTA): This annual global event brings scouts together via amateur radio. We will operate DF0OH from the Catholic Church tower in Hockenheim, around 40 meters above ground.

We are excited to bring DF0OH to the air for these events and celebrate our club's long history.

Relais DM0FG

We are also proud to announce that DM0FG, located at the DFØOH site, is back on the air after a significant hardware and software upgrade. The relay operates on 439.3625 MHz, with a 7.6 MHz offset.

Frequency: 439.3625 MHz (with a 7.6 MHz offset)
Simulated propagation conditions: Available for use during OV meetings and other activities.

Club Meetings & Activities

OV Evening Schedule

Frequency for OV meetings: 145.400 MHz.
Wednesday Evening Round: Held every Wednesday at 19:00 via DM0FG (if operational) on 439.3625 MHz.
Monthly OV Evening: Every first Friday of the month at 18:00.
- The next OV evening will be held on March 7, 2025 at Restaurant "Pagoni" in Walldorf.
