Whether you're a seasoned operator or a newcomer, the Freiburg A05 club provides an engaging community where you can develop your skills and gain your amateur radio license.


Amateur Radio Licensing – Learning and Achievements

One of the key missions of DARC Ortsverband Freiburg A05 is to provide structured amateur radio training courses that guide aspiring operators towards earning their licenses.

📡 Recent Achievements from the 2023 Licensing Course:

  • 14 participants joined the training
  • 8 candidates took their exams in March/April
  • 6 candidates passed their exams on their first attempt

New Licensing Course for Class E – Fall 2023

After the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Freiburg A05 has resumed its licensing courses to continue educating new generations of amateur radio operators.

📅 Course Start: November 10, 2023
🕕 Introductory Session: 18:00 at the Clubhouse
📚 Course Schedule:

  • 10 training sessions (Saturdays, 09:00 – 13:00)
  • Held every two weeks

🎯 Objective: Prepare participants for the successful completion of the Class E license exam

💰 Course Fees:

  • Adults: €120
  • Students & DARC Members: €90
  • (Exam fees from BNetzA are separate)
