Mark your calendars for the Cumberland Valley Hamfest, happening on July 27, 2024, from 8 AM to 2 PM. Hosted by the Cumberland Valley Amateur Radio Club (W3ACH), this event will take place at the Cumberland Valley Engine & Machinery Association (CVEMA) Show Grounds, located at 1501 Criders Church Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
Event Highlights:
- General Admission: $5.00 donation for ages 16 and above (under 16 free).
- Tailgating: $10.00 donation.
- VE Testing: Available for walk-ins. Register on W3ACH.com.
- Vendor Information: Indoor tables are available for $15.00 each ($10.00 each for the 5th table and up). Set up starts at 6:00 AM. Special request set up may be available on Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Hourly Door Prizes: Main prizes at 1:00 PM (must be present to win).
- Talk-In Frequency: 147.120+ 100 PL tone.
Additional Features:
- Large show grounds with a tailgating area and indoor table spaces.
- Computer and craft vendors are welcome.
- Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
- Rain or shine event (no overnighting on grounds).
