2. CYRN & SOS ALARMS

Sending Emergency Alerts:

From the main menu, tap and hold the orange hazard button for three seconds. Your device will notify you when the Emergency Alert has been sent.

Clearing Emergency Alert State:

After sending an Emergency Alert, your unit will be in an emergency state in the system.
In case of a false alarm, you can clear the emergency and continue your work.
To clear emergency alerts, tap the orange hazard button a single time. You will be notified  that the emergency alert was acknowledged.

CYRN Panic Button Integration:

Emergency calls are now defaulted to the highest priority and will not be broken by other callers. An emergency all-call channel is opened automatically by the user device when an emergency key or the CYRN is pressed that allows for that user to call out for help and provide details to the group when possible.

How to pair the CYRN panic button with the LINX mobile application:

Via the LINX app, go to “Settings” and scroll to “CYRN” to enter personal details, choose contacts and create a pre-defined Emergency Message for the button event

Next, scroll to “Manage Device” to pair the CYRN with the mobile app through Bluetooth

If a CYRN Emergency is triggered, a maximum of three contacts can receive the Emergency Message outside of the LINX network via an SMS including the incident’s GPS location

Pressing the CYRN button opens an Emergency monitoring group channel; the group call is recorded and available for later playback

On the Dispatcher, when users issue an Emergency Alert, the incident is displayed on the map with priority, centered and differentiated from other events
