Welcome to the Schweinfurt Amateur Radio Club (B14)!

We're the Schweinfurt Amateur Radio Club (B14), a group of amateur radio enthusiasts in and around Schweinfurt, Germany. We're part of the Deutscher Amateur-Radio-Club (DARC), the largest amateur radio organization in Germany.

What We Do

We hold regular meetings and events, including:

OV-Abend: Our monthly meeting takes place on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. We meet at our club location: Jugendhaus FränZ Franz-Schubert-Straße 26 97421 Schweinfurt
Open Meeting on the 70cm Band: Every Tuesday at 7:00 PM CET, we have an open meeting on the FM repeater DB0FWS (439.3375 MHz -7.6 MHz shift). All amateur radio operators are welcome, regardless of DARC membership.
Annual Meeting and Christmas Party: Our annual meeting and Christmas party take place on the date of the December monthly meeting, but two hours earlier than usual.

Special Events

70 Years of Amateur Radio in Schweinfurt: From March 25th, 2024 to June 24th, 2024, our club station DL0SM was active with the special DOK "70B14" to celebrate 70 years of amateur radio in Schweinfurt. During this time, we made 3362 QSOs, reaching all 6 continents, 110 DXCC entities, and 494 DOKs.

We maintain two repeaters:

DB0FWS (FM): 439.3375 MHz (-7.6 MHz shift), CTCSS tone 97.4 Hz (permanently required)
DB0FWS (D-Star): 439.5375 MHz (-7.6 MHz shift)
