Mission and Activities
Founded in 1964, WARC has earned the designation of ARRL Special Service Club since 1984. The club is deeply committed to public service, particularly through supporting local events with communications and providing emergency backup services. In addition to participating in various contests and DX activities, WARC focuses heavily on education. The club offers license classes for newcomers and helps existing operators upgrade their licenses. Additionally, they serve as Volunteer Examiners under the ARRL VEC program, administering amateur radio exams.
