Expedition Update: First 24 Hours

The Croatian-led team is now fully operational from Tubuai despite challenging weather:
 4,500+ QSOs logged in first 22 hours
 Initial bands: 10m/15m/40m CW (strong signals reported)
 Antenna progress:

  • Hexbeam, 3-el DK7ZB yagi, 40m GP operational

  • 60m/30m GP and 6m beam under construction

  • 160m/80m delayed by heavy rain

Technical Setup

  • Amplifiers: ACOM 1200S & 500S

  • Filters: 4O3A HP bandpass for multi-station ops

  • QSL: Via DK8ZZ (direct/LoTW)
