The TX7N team is gearing up for their exciting DXpedition to the Marquesas Islands, scheduled for January 12-27, 2025. In the past few weeks, the team has made great progress, including a final meeting where they fine-tuned every detail of this major expedition. The team has been busy receiving and organizing equipment generously provided by their sponsors, testing gear, and even soldering PL connectors!
A significant milestone was reached when the shipping container, containing about 700 kg of equipment, successfully crossed the Atlantic and is now en route to Tahiti before making its way to the Marquesas. Team members are also preparing their personal gear for the journey.
During the DXpedition, the team will be active under the call sign TX7N, and they will also be using TX100REF, TX7MAS, and TX7WW for special activities, including contests and satellite operations.

- TX7MAS: Satellite and EME (Earth-Moon-Earth)
- TX7WW: CQWW CW 160m contest
The team has been working closely with their on-site host, Tania, to ensure everything is in place for a smooth operation once they arrive. The expedition has generated significant excitement within the amateur radio community, and the team can’t wait to share their first live contacts from the Marquesas Islands.
