TarcFest 2024

Join us for TarcFest, hosted by the Tampa Amateur Radio Club, on August 24, 2024. This ARRL-sanctioned Hamfest promises a day full of amateur radio excitement, community, and fun.

• Event Hours: Doors open for everyone at 7:00 AM
• W5Y1 VE Testing Sessions: Following the event

Activities and Features:

• Tailgating: Free with paid admission, enjoy selling and buying amateur radio gear
• Indoor Vendor Tables: $15 each, available in advance
• Food & Drinks: Available from the TARG Grill
• VE Testing: On-site license testing sessions for new and upgrading hams

Directions:

• From I-4: Take the Hillsborough Avenue (US 92) exit west to 22nd Street and turn north. TARC is located at the end of 22nd Street on the right.
• From I-275: Take the Sligh Avenue exit east to 22nd Street and turn north. TARC is located at the end of 22nd Street on the right.
• From I-75: Take I-4 west to Hillsborough Avenue (US 92) exit west to 22nd Street and turn north. TARC is located at the end of 22nd Street on the right.

About TARC: The Tampa Amateur Radio Club has been proudly serving the Tampa community for over 100 years. They hold member meetings on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday Socials featuring coffee, donuts, and radios at 9 a.m. Additionally, the TARC Net meets every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on the 147.105 repeater.
