At a concert attended by tens of thousands of people, security screening is more than an entrance procedure. It is the point at which crowd flow, public safety and the audience experience first meet.
Screening teams must manage X-ray lanes, manual inspections, ticket checks, VIP access points and the handling of prohibited items—often while thousands of people arrive within a short period. Individual calling is also available through custom six-digit device IDs. These can be assigned to staff numbers or checkpoint codes, allowing a supervisor to contact a particular officer without interrupting the wider group.

Concert security staff may begin work hours before the doors open and remain on site until the venue has been cleared. Their radios must withstand long shifts, continuous movement, occasional knocks and changing weather.
