Club Background

The Somerset County Amateur Radio Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that promotes amateur radio as a hobby, provides emergency communication services, and supports advanced radio education and FCC testing in Somerset County, PA. The club participates in the ARRL Field Day, PA QSO Party, and hosts an annual Hamfest. Meetings are held every Thursday at 7:30 PM at Founders Hall, Room 27, 6022 Glades Pike (Route 31 East), Somerset, PA 15501.

Directions

  • From I-81: Take Exit 170B to Route 309 North, continue past Exit 1, take Exit 2, and bear right at the end of the ramp. Follow directions from there.
  • From North and West (Dallas, Tunkhannock, Williamsport via Rt. 118): Take Route 309 South to Exit 2, turn left onto N. Washington St. and follow further directions.
