The Radio Amateurs of Greater Syracuse (RAGS) are thrilled to announce Roger's RAGS Hamfest 2024! This event is a prime opportunity for amateur radio enthusiasts to connect, learn, and exchange equipment. Whether you're a seasoned ham or just starting out, there's something for everyone.

Admission and Vendor Information:

• Admission: $5 per person, Group Discount: 5 for $20
• Tailgate Spaces: $5 per car
• Indoor Tables: $8 each
• Tickets: Available at the gate or online at RAGS Hamfest

Schedule:

• Setup: Starts at 7:00 AM, Open from 7:30 AM
• Breakfast and Lunch: Served indoors
• FCC Exams: 9:00 AM by the ARRL VE Team
  • Requirements: Bring two forms of ID (one photo), email address, $15 cash, black pen, and two #2 pencils. If upgrading, bring original license, FRN number, and CSCE if applicable.

About RAGS:

The Radio Amateurs of Greater Syracuse (RAGS) is an ARRL-affiliated Amateur Radio Club serving Central New York since 1955. The club provides fellowship, technical advice, and public service communications to promote and support amateur radio in the community. RAGS members actively participate in emergency communications (ARES, RACES) and traffic nets. The club welcomes both Hams and non-Hams and offers mentorship to newcomers. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, except July and August.
