Description

The Rochester Amateur Radio Club (RARC) is a very active group involved in HF, VHF, and UHF. The club hosts events such as Field Day, Winter Field Day, MN QSO Party, and numerous social activities like a holiday party and summer family picnic. They offer quarterly classes for new hams and upgrades, as well as participating in ARES and Skywarn.

RARC operates analog repeaters on 147.255, 146.82, and 146.625 MHz, all with a 100 Hz tone. The Sunday net is held at 9:00 PM Central Time. The club also supports D-STAR, Fusion/C4FM, and APRS. The club welcomes visitors from the Mayo Clinic and encourages participation in their repeaters and social events.

When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, normal meetings will resume at the EOC Conference Room, Rochester Fire Station #2, 2185 Wheelock Dr NE, Rochester, MN.
