Repost: YJ0VV – Vanuatu

Four hams are preparing for a DXpedition to Vanuatu from October 16 through 29, 2024, operating two high-power stations. The team includes John Schroeder (K4QQG / YJ0JS) from Hilton Head, Nick Maslon (K1NZ / YJ0NZ) from Monson, William “Savo” Savacool (K2SAV / YJ0SA) from Schenectady, and team leader Van Herridge (N4VGE / YJ0VV) from Charleston. QSL management is handled by Nathan Wood (K4NHW / YJ0NW) with live log uploads via Club Log. Initially planned in 2022 to focus on SSB and participate in the 2024 CQ WW SSB Contest under a high-power M2 designation, the team will also activate three new POTA locations (VU0003, VU0005, and VU0021). With expenses now exceeding $35,000, they’ve set up a Go Fund Me page to help defray costs.
