Repost: VK9CV – Cocos (Keeling) Islands

The VK9CV team has completed their activity from the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, wrapping up on November 15, 2024. During their expedition, they operated on various bands, including 160m and 6m, using a range of antennas and equipment, including verticals, Spiderbeams, and a Hexbeam. They participated in contests, such as the WAE RTTY contest, and made over 70,000 QSOs. The team faced challenging conditions, including strong winds and interference, but managed to make valuable connections, especially on the lower bands.
