The VK9CU team is set to continue their DX adventure from Cocos Keeling Island from March 4–11, 2025, following their successful VK9XU Christmas Island operation. The expedition, featuring team members DF4GV, DJ9RR, DL2AMD, VK6SJ, VK6CQ, and DL2AWG, will be on the air 24/7 across bands from 160m to 6m. They’ll be operating in multiple modes including CW, SSB, RTTY, and digital (FT8/FT4 using Fox/Hound).

Their rig is impressive, featuring FlexRadios 6600 and 8600, a Yaesu FTDX10, and an Icom IC7300, complemented by amplifiers such as 4× FlexRadio PGXL, roWaves PA1000+, and SPE Expert 1.3K. The antenna farm includes a Hexbeam covering 20–6m, a DX-Commander for 40–10m, a Rombic for 17/12m, a vertical for 160/80m, and a J-Pole for 30m.

QSLs will be handled via Club Log, bureau, or direct to DL2AWG, with LoTW confirmations available three months after the DXpedition. For more information, visit the VK9XU-VK9CU website or click the banner below.
