📡 [NEW ACTIVITY] – Renato PY8WW is planning a solo return to IOTA SA-092 (Papegaaien Island) on April 11–13, 2025, depending on tidal and weather conditions. This activation will be a low-profile, lightweight operation with a simple vertical antenna and 45Ah battery. Expect operations during low tide only, with departure timed before the tide rises.

🛶 This follows the challenging team expedition with PY8WW, Rico PZ5JW, and Klaus DL8TG from March 31–April 3, during which 2,000 QSOs were logged despite severe storms and logistical hurdles. Their multi-band operation (SSB, FT8) was impacted by high tides and sudden weather shifts, cutting short their full planned schedule.
