The Ortsverband (OV) Westlausitz was founded on October 3, 1990, through the merger of the former GST associations from Pulsnitz, Bischofswerda, and Großröhrsdorf. Today, the OV has 19 active members who continue to contribute to the growth and vibrancy of amateur radio in the Westlausitz region.

The OV operates a club station on Keulenberg, using the call sign DK0KC, which is a cornerstone of their activities. The station is a hub for members, providing opportunities for operating and educational activities.
