Fred, F4HEC, is on his third trip to Saint-Pierre & Miquelon (NA-032) – a place where FP activity is rare and cherished. Here are the key highlights:
- Operating Period: February 16–25, 2025
- Bands & Modes: QRV on HF bands from 80m to 6m, primarily operating in SSB and CW. The focus will be on the REF Contest SSB on February 22–23, though digital modes remain available.

• A Hexbeam covering 6 bands (currently mounted at only 4 meters due to site limitations)
• A multiband dipole -
Challenges:
• Extremely low temperatures with wind chill reaching -18°C, which are affecting SWR readings. - QSL Information: QSLs are processed via LoTW or directly via his home call.

This marks Fred’s third visit to FP; he previously participated with the TO5FP team in 2016. -
