The latest update from the Comoros DXpedition is both inspiring and educational. Elvira, IV3FSG, will be active from Moroni, Comoros, as D68Z during March 3–18, 2025, operating on HF bands with CW, SSB, and FT8/FT4. Logs will be uploaded to Club Log with QSLs handled via IK2WAD and LoTW.
A special highlight of this operation is Elvira’s mentorship initiative—she will be guiding three local youths in the art of antenna setup and managing the pile-up. This opportunity is made possible thanks to Don, 7Q6M/D60AB, and aims to prepare the students for this year’s YOTA Summer Camp in France.
On-scene photos, credited to IK0XBX, capture the vibrant atmosphere and commitment of the team and local participants. Stay tuned for more updates and visit the official 4S7SPG website for further details.
