The team for the Sacrifice Rock IOTA AS-161 DXpedition is on their way to the island after overcoming initial challenges with the boat engine. They are currently operating from the boat on the way to Sacrifice Rock and have already set up a dipole. The expedition, which will run from February 7-10, 2025, aims to activate one of the most coveted IOTA locations, with a challenging terrain and high operational costs.
Sarath VU2RS reports that gear has safely arrived in Calicut, and the team is preparing for their journey. Due to spotty internet access from February 7 onwards, updates will be limited, but they plan to keep the community informed as much as possible.
