PJ6Y – Saba Island DXpedition
  • Operator Group:
    Led by Gregg W6IZT, with co-leaders Dean W2FQ and Jeff NM1Y, in collaboration with Youth on the Air (YOTA).

  • Dates:
    October 17–29, 2025

  • Location:
    Saba Island, located in the Caribbean.

  • Team:
    14 on-island operators (8 young operators under 25, including 4 from the 3D2Y DXpedition). There will also be 25–30 remote operators.

  • Operating Frequencies:
    80–6 meters + satellite operations.

  • Special Activity:
    The team will participate in the CQWW SSB contest.

  • Stations & Equipment:
    They will use NexGenRiBs2 stations based on Elecraft K4Ds for remote operation, generously funded by the Northern California DX Foundation (NCDXF).

  • Fundraising:
    The goal is to cover expenses for young operators. Donations can be made via PayPal (donatepj6y2025@gmail.com) or by check to the Pacific Islands DXpedition Group.

This exciting DXpedition will provide a great opportunity to work with young operators, many of whom will be experiencing the thrill of a DXpedition for the first time! Keep an eye out for their signals later this year.
