Club Description
The OMIK Amateur Radio Association, Inc., founded on August 17, 1952, originally served to support Black hams across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky, providing travel resources and fostering community amid discrimination. Today, OMIK stands as the largest predominantly Black amateur radio association in the U.S., welcoming a diverse membership from across the globe.
As a 501(c)(7) organization, OMIK promotes amateur radio, public service, and youth education through scholarships, supported by The OMIK Scholarship Fund (a 501(c)(3) organization).
